I have been practicing yoga for nearly six years. I started practicing while living in Australia and have since practiced in yoga studios all over the world. In May 2016, I successfully completed my vinyasa yoga teacher training (RYT 200) in Helsinki, Finland. Wanting to broaden my knowledge, I then participated in Bernie Clarks 50 h yin yoga teacher training in Vancouver, Canada.

Yin Yoga for the hips (in English)
The hips are often called the fountain of youth. After this yin yoga practice your hips will feel open and your mind relaxed. In yin yoga we hold each pose for 3-10 minutes. Each pose is like a mini meditation while lengthening your body! We dont use our muscles, instead we allow time and gravity to do the work. This way we can strengthen the joints, tendons and ligaments – areas which are usually not targeted through any other kind of exercise.
